Résumé express
On your turn, draft same-colored tiles from the factories to fill the pattern lines on your board. At the end of each round, every complete line sends one tile onto your 5×5 wall, scoring for adjacent tiles. Wasted tiles fall to the floor line and cost points. The game ends when someone completes a horizontal row of their wall; bonuses reward complete rows, columns and colors. Highest total wins.
Mise en place
- 5, 7 or 9 factories for 2, 3 or 4 players, each filled with 4 tiles drawn from the bag.
- Each player takes a board: 5 pattern lines (1 to 5 spaces), the 5×5 wall, and the floor line.
- The first-player tile goes to the center.
Tour de jeu
On your turn:
- Take all tiles of one color from a factory (the rest slides to the center), or all tiles of one color from the center.
- Place them on a single pattern line (one color per line, never a color already on the wall in that row). Overflow tiles drop to the floor line.
- The first player to draft from the center also takes the first-player tile (to their floor) — and will start the next round.
End of round: once everything is drafted, each complete pattern line sends its rightmost tile to its color’s space on the wall; the line’s other tiles go back to the box. Incomplete lines stay put.
Scoring each placed tile (the app does it for you):
- Lone tile: 1 point.
- Otherwise: as many points as tiles in its contiguous horizontal run, plus as many as in its contiguous vertical run (both directions add up).
- Floor line: −1, −1, −2, −2, −2, −3, −3 in order. Your score never drops below 0.
🎯 Try the scoring
Tap an empty space: the tile is placed and its score shows up.
Fin de partie
As soon as a player completes a horizontal row of their wall, the game ends after that round. Everyone then adds:
- +2 per complete horizontal row;
- +7 per complete column;
- +10 per complete color (all 5 tiles).
The app detects the completed row and adds the bonuses automatically on the final round.
FAQ
I can’t place anything legally — what now? You still must draft tiles: they go straight to your floor line.
A color already on my wall in that row? You may not draft it to the matching pattern line — the wall takes only one tile of each color per row.
A tile touches 3 tiles to its left and 2 below — how much? Horizontal run of 4 (itself included) + vertical run of 3 = 7 points.
Can the floor line take me below zero? No, the marker stops at 0 — excess penalty is lost.
Variantes
- Grey side of the board (advanced): the wall has no printed colors, place tiles anywhere (one color per row and per column). Not handled by the app’s wall editor in v1.
- 2-player games are the most calculating — ideal to learn adjacency scoring.
